We attach several images containing the timeline of your activities throughout the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. We are pleased to welcome you to the new even-semester class. INCULS UGM Regular Program of 2022/2023 will be held approximately for 15 weeks (1 semester). The students who have registered later on will be given a placement test. The result will determine which class you will attend. The classes will vary from beginner, to intermediate, and advanced. You will experience classroom learning process with the professors at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada. read more

The Closing Ceremony of the Odd Semester Regular Program 2022/2023 was assigned by INCLUS UGM on December 15th. The ceremony was attended by students, lecturers, tutors, and staff across the Faculty of cultural science. The ceremony occurred in the Soegondo building auditorium, Fakultas Ilmu Budaya UGM. Two students, one from the advanced class and the other from INCULS, were chosen as MCs and guided the ceremony.

There was also a gamelan musical play performed by INCULS students. The musical instrument signaled the start of the closing ceremony and welcomed guesses. The next item on the agenda for the day was the INCULS Coordinator’s brief report on the Regular Program. From their arrival to their TIFL test, the students have made considerable progress in their Bahasa Indonesia studies. The second item on the agenda was a speech by the Deputy Dean of Academic and Student Affairs to officially end the program. Following the event, representatives from each class gave personal speeches about their learning process and diverse cultural experiences in Indonesia. “Joining INCULS class was the most memorable and joyful experience I’ve ever had in 2022,” one student said. read more

On Friday last week, INCULS collaborated with Keluarga Mahasiswa Sastra Indonesia UGM, Balai Bahasa Yogyakarta, Duta Bahasa Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, as well as the Yogyakarta branch of APPBIPA to hold “Kembulan Bulan Bahasa”, the event celebrating Bulan Bahasa (tl: the month of languages). The event was attended by many of INCULS’ students, alumni, as well as foreign students from other universities in Yogyakarta.

The event offered many fun activities, namely: tumpeng decorating competition, Saman dance by Rampoe UGM, quiz competition, poetry musicalization by KMSI, as well as dance flashmobs to Indonesian music. The guests are also free to enjoy an assortment of Indonesian traditional snacks guided by many Duta Bahasa Indonesia. read more

(9/8) Fakultas Asia 21 dari Kokushikan University kembali mengirimkan mahasiswa untuk mengikuti kegiatan belajar bahasa dan budaya Indonesia di INCULS FIB UGM. Kegiatan yang diselenggarakan pada 10 Agustus—2 September 2022 ini diikuti oleh 18 mahasiswa. Program ini bertujuan memberikan bekal keindonesiaan bagi para mahasiswa, khususnya memiliki minat kajian Indonesia.

Dr. Jakfar Idrus, dosen pengampu Political Studies dan Asia Area Studies yang pada kesempatan ini menjadi pendamping mahasiswa menyampaikan, “Di Prodi kami, pembelajaran tidak hanya berlangsung di dalam kelas. Mahasiswa wajib mengunjungi salah satu negara Asia yang menjadi minta kajiannya, terjun langsung, dan secara pribadi merasakan dinamisme kehidupan masyarakatnya dengan mempelajari realitas politik, ekonomi, dan budaya yang sebenarnya terjadi di negara-negara tersebut.” read more

Bertepatan pada hari Senin (1/8) lalu, INCULS UGM berhasil menyelenggarakan program kelas intensif yang diikuti oleh mahasiswa mancanegara asal Korea Selatan. Enam mahasiswa yang datang diterbangkan langsung dari kota Busan dan direncanakan akan mengikuti program kelas bauran (𝘩𝘺𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘥) dengan satu mahasiswa yang masih berada di Korea Selatan pada program tersebut selama sepuluh hari (1–10 Agustus 2022).

Program yang digagas oleh 𝘋𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘔𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘺 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘴 dalam 𝘉𝘶𝘴𝘢𝘯 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘯 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘴 (BUFS) menggandeng Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Gadjah Mada (FIB UGM) ini diikuti oleh enam mahasiswa secara luring dan satu mahasiswa secara daring. Guna membekali para pemelajar asing, kelas 𝘈𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 dan 𝘞𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 dibuat untuk mewadahi tujuan program.
