Dalam rangka menyambut tahun ajaran baru semester ganjil 2023/2024, INCULS mengadakan tiga buah lokakarya pada bulan Juli dan Agustus lalu. Lokakarya pertama yang bertajuk “Pembekalan Tutor INCULS 2023” diadakan pada 17 Juli 2023. Lokakarya ini diadakan guna membekali para tutor, terutama para tutor baru, dalam mempersiapkan diri guna menemani mahasiswa INCULS belajar bahasa dan budaya Indonesia di Yogyakarta. Sebanyak kurang lebih 30 mahasiswa tutor, baik baru maupun lama, turut berperan aktif. read more

Closing Ceremony Even Semester Regular Program 2022/20223

On June 14th, INCLUS UGM allocated the Closing Ceremony of the Even Semester Regular Program 2022/2023. Students, lecturers, tutors, and faculty from the faculty of cultural science attended the ceremony. The ceremony was placed in the auditorium of the Soegondo building at UGM. As the MC, a student from the advanced I class and the INCULS lecturer led the event.

To make the occasion merrier, there were two traditional dances shown on the stage. The first dance is Tari Bongkel to welcome the guest. Tari Bongkel is played by two INCULS student who is from Australia. Aside from taking language classes, they also enrich their knowledge of Indonesian art and culture. The next thing on the agenda for the day was the INCULS Coordinator’s brief report on the Regular Program. From their arrival to their placement test, the students have made considerable progress in their Bahasa Indonesia studies. The second agenda was the speech by the Deputy Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Alumni to officially end the program. Following the event, representatives from each class gave personal speeches about their learning process and diverse cultural experiences in Indonesia. “I found many friends here and enjoy having a daily life as an Indonesian, I could cross the street fearless.” one student said. INCULS also shows one of the Indonesian traditional dances which is Tari Rampoe. The dancers are from Rampoe UGM. Rampoe UGM is a community of traditional dance groups under the auspices of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Gadjah Mada University. Rampoe UGM focuses on Aceh’s traditional culture, especially on the arts. read more

Eid al-Fitr 2023 with INCULS

In a heartwarming celebration of cultural diversity, international students from around the world came together to celebrate Eid al-Fitr with INCULS on 5th May 2023.

Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, the month-long period of fasting and reflection for Muslims. INCULS gathered students from different parts of the world to find ways to connect and share in the joy of the occasion with their peers, teachers, and staff.

The remarkable occasion was held at the Panggung Terbuka of FIB UGM. And for the first time after a while, INCULS organized real-time events to mark the occasion, sharing traditional foods and stories about Eid Mubarak cultural customs. For many, this was their first Eid away from home, and the chance to connect with others from similar backgrounds was especially meaningful. read more

Below are several images containing the timeline of your activities throughout the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. We would be delighted to welcome you in our classes! The INCULS UGM Regular Program of 2023/2024 will be held approximately for 16 weeks (1 semester). The students who have registered later on will do a placement test which will determine your Indonesian knowledge level and which class you will attend. We provide classes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced users. You will experience an on-site learning process with the professors at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada, at the heart of Yogyakarta. read more

INCULS UGM Gelar Program Persiapan Pertukaran Pelajar Mahasiswa Busan ​​University of Foreign Studies

Bertepatan pada hari Senin (1/8) lalu, INCULS UGM berhasil menyelenggarakan program kelas intensif yang diikuti oleh mahasiswa mancanegara asal Korea Selatan. Enam mahasiswa yang datang diterbangkan langsung dari kota Busan dan direncanakan akan mengikuti program kelas bauran (𝘩𝘺𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘥) dengan satu mahasiswa yang masih berada di Korea Selatan pada program tersebut selama sepuluh hari (1–10 Agustus 2022).

Program yang digagas oleh 𝘋𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘔𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘺 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘴 dalam 𝘉𝘶𝘴𝘢𝘯 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘯 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘴 (BUFS) menggandeng Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Gadjah Mada (FIB UGM) ini diikuti oleh enam mahasiswa secara luring dan satu mahasiswa secara daring. Guna membekali para pemelajar asing, kelas 𝘈𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 dan 𝘞𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 dibuat untuk mewadahi tujuan program. We inform you of the timeline activities throughout the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year for those who have already registered. Get ready to learn Bahasa Indonesia this semester with INCULS.

We are pleased to welcome you to the new odd-semester class. INCULS UGM Regular Program 2022/2023 will be held approximately for 15-17 weeks (1 semester). The enrolled students will be grouped based on their results in Placement Test in beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes.
