The Indonesian Culture and Language Learning Service (INCULS) at Universitas Gadjah Mada is now open for registration for the Regular Program – Even Semester 2025/2026!
📅 Program Duration: 16 February – 19 June 2026 (15–17 weeks, offline at UGM)
Through this one-semester program, international students can study Bahasa Indonesia while living in Yogyakarta, the cultural and intellectual heart of Indonesia. This is more than a language course—it’s a complete cultural immersion experience.
👩🏫 Program Structure:
Students are placed according to their proficiency levels:
– Beginner (A1, A2)
– Intermediate (B1.1, B1.2)
– Advanced (C2.1, C2.2)
Courses cover reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, and vocabulary, taught by expert faculty using interactive methods that link classroom learning to real-life communication.
🌺 Cultural Enrichment Activities:
Beyond the classroom, students can join exciting cultural experiences such as Batik workshops, Gamelan (traditional music) classes, and other cultural excursions that bring Indonesian traditions to life.
📚 Elective Courses Available:
– Indonesian Culture
– History and Politics
– Tourism
– Translation
🎓 Certification & Credits:
At the end of the semester, participants receive an official certificate and academic transcript signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). Academic credits are transferable to home universities.
